Pre-show Standby Screen
As the audience joins the webinar, they wait with this graphic complete with a slideshow on the left, title of the event, and a countdown timer until the event begins.
From the Standby graphic, we move to a simple, clean welcome by LACP moderators. They explain how the event will go and ultimately introduce the main speaker.
On this main event page, the host is placed on the left and their content on the right. Moderated Q&A feed is located below next to LACP’s logo. Director’s Cut moves in like a camera’s zoom to enlarge any parts of this scene.
As attendees start to leave, this page serves as a plug for their next event.
As with many organizations, Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP) was abruptly thrown into the virtual world in 2020. Transitioning to bring their in-person courses online, LACP leveraged the rising star: Zoom.
In working with other groups, it’s agreed that Zoom has a rigid format for presentation that seems limited and causes fatigue quickly. To circumvent this and breathe new life into a standard Zoom webinar, Director’s Cut transformed the look of their online webinars from the very beginning using a “grid arrangement” virtual set.
Now, LACP enjoys the flexibility to playback video, show hosts and guests on command, animate transitions to presentation slides, and much more. All 100% hands-off for the LACP as Director’s Cut produces their show.
