    RUBELLI Live from Venice Italy!

    On the 24th of March, RUBELLI celebrates the 1600th anniversary of the foundation of Venice presenting a special edition of “San Marco” – it’s pure silk iconic damask which has been part of the Rubelli collection for over 100 years, and which has decorated the most prestigious interiors worldwide. This is the opportunity for a journey which starts from Ca’ Pisani Rubelli in Venice to the weaving mill in Como, together with Nicolò Favaretto Rubelli. Nicolò will accompany the audience through: the history of silk in Venice, the experience of a five generation old company, the approach to a “contemporary Venetian glamour.” This event will include: A conversation in Venice at ca’ Pisani Rubelli: Nicolò Favaretto Rubelli and Filippo Silvestri, a tour of the Rubelli mill in Cucciago, and the art of weaving: Nicolò and Filippo with the velvet hand weaver Lorita, and the manager of the Rubelli mill. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the world-famous Rubelli Mill and learn the history of one of the most historic textile patterns in our industry.
