    RUBELLI Live from Venice Italy!

    On the 24th of March, RUBELLI celebrates the 1600th anniversary of the foundation of Venice presenting a special edition of “San Marco” – it’s pure silk iconic damask which has been part of the Rubelli collection for over 100 years, and which has decorated the most prestigious interiors worldwide. This is the opportunity for a journey which starts from Ca’ Pisani Rubelli in Venice to the weaving mill in Como, together with Nicolò Favaretto Rubelli. Nicolò will accompany the audience through: the history of silk in Venice, the experience of a five generation old company, the approach to a “contemporary Venetian glamour.” This event will include: A conversation in Venice at ca’ Pisani Rubelli: Nicolò Favaretto Rubelli and Filippo Silvestri, a tour of the Rubelli mill in Cucciago, and the art of weaving: Nicolò and Filippo with the velvet hand weaver Lorita, and the manager of the Rubelli mill. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the world-famous Rubelli Mill and learn the history of one of the most historic textile patterns in our industry.

Join author of Ode to Color and product designer Lori Weitzner and interior designer Lisa Staprans for a presentation that illustrates how understanding the neuroscience of design and color can help elevate mood, promote optimism and inspire creativity.

    Join Kneedler Fauchère LIVE for an intimate tour of Sean Dougall and Andrew Paulson’s studio, including an up-close look at their five looms. Dougall Paulson seeks beauty through new forms of weaving, furniture, lighting, and objects. Using narrative as the thread that binds ideas together, their unique take on visual storytelling is the starting point for the creation of objects that straddle fine and decorative arts. Meet the creators behind this new and exciting addition to Kneedler Fauchère.

Most recently the Vice President of Marketing at the Pacific Design Center, Jeff was a passionate fan of and advocate for design, travel, fashion, and the arts. He is dearly missed by all. Grab a glass of something cold and refreshing, and join us for a toast to Jeff and his wonderful life, as well as an announcement about how we will keep his memory alive in the years to come.
